CloudMover™ pricing is based on two factors: speed and time. You control both – depending on the importance of near real-time collaboration, meeting tight deadlines, increasing customer satisfaction or enhancing overall worker productivity.
CloudMover
™ has Three Speeds:
- Express, which moves about 3 TB per hour, uses 4 CloudMover™ instances at $11.95 apiece, or $48 per hour. This equates to about 1.6 cents per gigabyte. Express also uses 4 AWS EC2 instances at $0.192 apiece, or about $0.77 cents per hour, for a total of 1.6 cents per gigabyte.
- Plus, which moves about 9 TB per hour, uses 12 CloudMover™ instances at $24.95 apiece, or $299 per hour. This equates to about 3.3 cents per gigabyte. Plus also uses 12 AWS EC2 instances at $0.192 apiece, or about $2.30 cents per hour, for a total of 3.3 cents per gigabyte.
- Ultra, which moves about 30 TB per hour, uses 40 CloudMover™ instances at $49.95 apiece, or $1,998 per hour. This equates to about 6.7 cents per gigabyte. Ultra also uses 12 AWS EC2 instances at $0.192 apiece, or about $7.68 cents per hour, for a total of 6.7 cents per gigabyte.
The CloudMover™ Server is free of charge, uses one instance of AWS EC2 at $0.192 per hour (cost in us-east-1) and can be used to view file trees and usage logs at any time.

Time-Based Pricing
AWS Marketplace charges CloudMover™ on a per-hour basis, only when used. This means that the charge for Express, Plus, or Ultra is based on the time used, per hour or part thereof. For example, CloudMover™ used for 40 minutes will be charged at one hour, CloudMover™ used for 1 hour and 45 minutes will be charged at two hours, and so forth. Customers should avoid small transfers unless saving minutes is absolutely critical.
AWS charges for EC2 instances for a minimum of one minute, and per second thereafter. Included in the times above are AWS setup times, which may vary but are generally 20 to 60 seconds.
Other Related AWS Charges can Apply (Independent of CloudMover™):
S3 storage is 2 cents per gigabyte per month for S3 storage, measured on a per-second basis. The first 5 GB is free.
AWS charges 2 cents per gigabyte for data transfers that cross its regions, anywhere in the world. Transfers within regions do not bear this charge.
