Michael has a broad background in growing technology companies. He was previously the President and CEO of MCI's International Operations and Ventures. Michael has served as CEO and Director of numerous other Software and Networking companies. Michael holds a bachelor of science degree from M.I.T. and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is on the Board of Directors of Neustar, Inc.
and Ciena, Inc.
Tom Howie, COO
Tom is a results-charged executive with expertise in sales, marketing, general management, and managed services. He has both large company and entrepreneurial experience, building and managing teams for several IT companies including IBM, Mainline Information Systems, BlueAlly and KAnalytics. There he established successful strategic relationships with Microsoft, CSC, EDS, Perot Systems, and Lockheed Martin. Tom holds a BS in Marketing from the University of South Alabama.
Tom Shearer, SVP Sales
Tom specializes in bringing early-state technologies to market. He was previously the President of Talon Data Systems Inc., a high-end, value added systems integrator (VAR), providing Enterprise-level Storage and Networking Workflow Solutions. Previous to that, he was the Vice President of Worldwide sales for Prisa Networks, manufacturer of the world's first "Realtime Video" Fibre Chanel Host Adapters. Tom also worked for 14 years at the Sony Corporation of America, Inc. where he created and managed Sony's Corporate Accounts Division.
Keith Hogan, Chief Technology Officer
Keith specializes in developing emerging technologies. Previously to joining Pixspan, he was the VP, Search Technology for Ask.com, where he built Ask's SEO business. Keith also managed various search back-end systems including Search Suggestion and index freshness systems. He also Managed the Spam filtering and Quality and Vertical Classification organization. Previous to Ask, Keith was Director, Wireless Software Development for Telogy Networks (sold to Motorola) where he built Cellular Signalling Protocol Software. Keith started his career building embedded data communications solutions. Keith holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
